This 3 minute animated video explains what Body Mass Index is and what BMI means. We can also calculate our ideal BMI with the the interactive Body Mass Index calculator inside the video. Someone who is ‘heavy’ isn’t necessarily obese. BMI has its own limitation to determine the ideal weight. In this film we look at a number of alternative methods to calculate it. Students may listen to vocabulary about measures and basic math operations.
